Oklahoma Public Sex Sting

A story as interesting as it is depressing comes from Oklahoma. Following a 'sting' operation on a public sex environment, the Police have made a video explaining their approach and also posted 'mug-shots' of the poor guys arrested. Read the video/story here. It makes me sick. It amazes me that there is widespread debate on 'sarah's law' etc- but no-one blinks an eyelid at stuff like this.
Does the Oklahoma police force genuinely believe that these guys deserve having their lives destroyed because they're having sex in 'public' spaces?
