What am I missing?

Political bloggers often do 'open blog' posts when they have a light day/vanish on holiday etc. It occurs to me, that I've never (I don't think) offered readers the chance to post ideas for what you'd like to see me talk/write about either in a blogpost, a video or Audioboo.

So here's your chance. I know there's lots of you out there but you're shy to comment. Well, please do comment on this post and tell me what you'd like to see me address. Thoughts on any features you'd like to see added to the blog are also welcome. Don't self-censor, just say what you'd like me to deal with :-) Thanks.

I'd be interested on your thoughts on the Julian Assange case, viz the rape allegations in particular - how it's been reported, issues you perceive from a legal perspective, that sort of thing.

A quick search shows it's been a while since you covered prostitution and the sex industry in general.

Another topic which you could apply locally is the law and sex shops if you haven't so far - I know Gateshead City Council blocked a request for such premises to open in a quiet factory site - yet North Shields has one on a busy mixed [commercial/residential] street which flaunts what it is quite obviously.

Thanks, couple of great suggestions. Any more?

Given the lack of other comments, I'll respond to these. Jackie, I've deliberately not commented. I think it's a tough one and I don't know anything about the case to comment. I wish the media would take a similar view. It's possible to be right on one issue, and also commit a wrong.

DJB - you're right. My interest/focus has moved away from sex work in recent months and I guess that's a big part of the story. It will be something I come back to, along with the ongoing issue of sex shops and other sex-related venues.
